Chinese New Year Printing - Special Seasonal Workshop

Toa Payoh | 2.5-hour workshop | Ticket includes all workshop materials, supplies and refreshments | See here for other dates: Sat 14, Fri 20 or Sat 21 January, 2017

Create extra good luck by making a Chinese New Year inspired table runner! Experience a unique crafting session and make a stylish table runner or table cloth ready for use in your home.

This streamlined printmaking workshop is perfect for the busy beginner with a tried-and-tested range of design templates available for use. Quality cotton sateen fabric has been hemmed with pre-drawn guidelines to ensure a speedy and fun printing session!

Use specially mixed inks along with a library of handmade pre-carved blocks to produce your customised textile piece. Professional fabric ink ensures that your fabric can be hand-washed upon ironing, and kept as a unique Singapore keepsake.

No art experience is necessary with friendly Australian-Peranakan artist & printmaker Jennifer Lim providing a relaxed and supportive environment. This is a non-carving workshop.

  • Choice of quality cotton sateen fabric to make a 50cm x 50cm tablecloth or 30cm x 90cm table runner
